How should I use Emla cream?
EMLA Cream should be applied sparingly to the tip of the penis 15-30 minutes prior to engaging in sexual activity. After successful application you should wipe off any excess/residual cream before beginning sexual activity. The duration of its effects can vary, and depend upon where on the penis it is applied, successful desensitization of nerve endings, as well as external factors such as stimulation and arousal during sexual activity.
